Gold Cathedral

Visual description

The cathedral emerges as a monochrome gold relief with intricate branching lines.

Intention & perception

Light and shadow turn a technical drawing into something almost tangible.

Part of Wolfram Schäfers’s exploration of historic floor plans. Architectural lines leave their original context and become an open invitation to see anew.
